The place for like-minded calesthenic, bodyweight, and light dumbell excercise fanatics that obsess about fitness and diet. My goal is for this to be a place that my friends will join me, challenge me, and have fun with me on a daily basis. Visit often for 20-30 minute intense workouts. Feel free to challenge everyone to your favorite workout. The tougher the better. Vomiting is optional.
Three hour Bryan Kest "Power Yoga Master Class" tonight. Just read the room will be heated and humid, like Robby's jungle trail. Love to have you all with me! Should be an amazing experience (especially if I remember my towel).
When I got home, I had some severe knee pain from all of those sprints around the track :) I had to lay low on lots of things. Mostly biking right now and P90X. I think P90X has helped it heal. I'll be back to the grind soon. Maybe tomorrow :) Think up something good.
Also... Sarah has a Bryan Kest cd. It is the worst CD ever. I can't stand to hear that guy talk :)
squats are great. I'm actually feeling really good now. pullups still hurt with my forearm. I think I need to start foam rollering that sucker too. Sprints on flat land aren't great cuz I think the flat/hard running is what was hurting them. Although I did break down and buy a more traditional running shoe rather than the merrills... So... if you throw in some sprints.. it might be ok. I need to try these out.
That was an awesome workshop! It was like taking a class made for us, led by Ninja's twin. You guys would have loved it/him.
ReplyDeleteI am already sore (he went 40 minutes over).

Hi!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back! I knew you were keeping super active with tennis, biking, P90X...I just missed you on the blog!
I'll avoid his CD-he was hilarious, in person, last night.
I have some ideas for wod-is there an area you want to hit? Can you squat with those knees?
