12/9/2011 - Hill sprints
Friday is going to be hill sprint day. Because I'm getting on a boat tomorrow, ehehee, there will be no working out at lunch. So... map out a .2 mile uphill place (or elevate your treadmill) and run all out. Do 5 of them for a 1 mile total. Walk back. .2 miles is a lot farther than you think when you are sprinting uphill and outside.

I changed my mind. I don't have a hill nearby. I'm going to bunk up, strap on an air bottle and run up and down the stair tower till I'm out of air. FF hill sprints!

ReplyDeleteSince you are walking back, it takes a lot longer than you would think. .2 miles is a long time when you start off sprinting. Halfway you are hurtin' for certain.
Ciao
I started my hill sprints on the treadmill, but was told I had to stop because I was disturbing the class below me.
ReplyDeleteSo I finished the 100 burpee pullups from the day before.
