12/9/2011 - Hill sprints

Friday is going to be hill sprint day.  Because I'm getting on a boat tomorrow, ehehee, there will be no working out at lunch.  So... map out a .2 mile uphill place (or elevate your treadmill) and run all out.   Do 5 of them for a 1 mile total.   Walk back.   .2 miles is a lot farther than you think when you are sprinting uphill and outside.

  1. I changed my mind. I don't have a hill nearby. I'm going to bunk up, strap on an air bottle and run up and down the stair tower till I'm out of air. FF hill sprints!

  2. 1:30, 1:20, 1:18, 1:17, 1:17

Since you are walking back, it takes a lot longer than you would think. .2 miles is a long time when you start off sprinting. Halfway you are hurtin' for certain.

  3. I started my hill sprints on the treadmill, but was told I had to stop because I was disturbing the class below me.

So I finished the 100 burpee pullups from the day before.
