12/14/2011 - The Murph

From Michael, this is the quintessential Cross Fit workout.

Run a Mile
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 "air" or "hindu" squats.
Run a Mile

Time yourself.

    I don't think we have time for a full Murph.

    So, it's

    1/2 mile run
    50 pullups
    100 pushups
    150 squats
    1/2 mile run

  3. Note that you only need to start and end with the run, the stuff in between can be accomplished in little chunks and in any order. Today's my rest day, but I'll hit this tomorrow! Have fun!

    I found it easier to break it up into smaller sets of 2-3 pullups. then I didn't need much rest.

  5. I didn't puke. Thought about it. A lot. Still thinking about it.

    That was tough.

    42:30. My runs were through ice and snow, though. :-)

    Good advice on the chunks, Robby. I did 2 pull-ups/4 push-ups/6 squats the whole way.
